The conference will begin at 7:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome!

PORTICO PROJECT UPDATE

So far the donations for the portico repair project have been wonderful! The Finance Committee recommended taking $25,000 from savings, $5,000 from the Memorial Fund, and raising $20,000 from the congregation over the next several months. To date we have raised $15,297 of the $20,000 that is needed. Thank you for your generosity so far!

To donate to this project, use a pew envelope and mark it “Portico.” Please remember to not take from your regular offering to support this project, but any additional money you could donate would be greatly appreciated.

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes

Throughout the year we have been collecting many items for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.   There are several ways you can still help with this project as we continue to work toward our goal of filling 200 boxes from EUMC as a group.

Over the next few weeks we ask for your help with bringing in items that are still needed from the list below. Donations can be placed in the tote by the coat racks near the office. In November, we will have our shoebox packing party and collect a special offering to help cover the shipping costs. (Suggested donation for shipping for each box is $9.)

And of course, if you enjoy filling a box of your own with gifts to send, we will gladly take as many of them as you want to fill. Gift ideas are on the back. We even have boxes you can use. Thank you for all your help with this project!
